When I moved to California, I found my voice that had been lost for a very long time. I learned how to be benevolent in helping the community by giving a voice to those that are never heard.
I am a mother. I am a volunteer. I am a student. I am human. I make mistakes, and I fix them if they are able to be fixed.
I support my community and our civil rights however I can, and I am going to use this space to talk about those issues.
There will be much more to learn about me, but it will all come as my work unfolds. Enjoy and feel free to participate in the conversations.
Please know this is a safe space, and free speech is important here. A good debate is fine, but we will not take any trolling.
That had to be said, and now we shall begin…
Looking forward to learning much, much more about you and your wonderful work with the ACLU and following your career path to a full-fledged lawyer, defending the people who most need you!
